Other Important Information

  • There is only bore water freely available at the grounds, so plan ahead and bring adequate drinking water for your needs.

 

  • Limited powered sites are available for campers, so we recommend visitors bring generators suitable for their own needs.

 

  • The nearest commercial fuel is at the Barkly Homestead - 130km away, so please come prepared.

 

  • Cattle are generously suplied by AAco station -  Brunette Downs

 

  • There is limited wood on the Barkly, so please supply your own if planning a camp fire. (Open fires subject to appropriate weather conditions)

 

  • Station Teams Competition - $1000 prize money to the highest point scoring nominated team. Proudly sponsored by Australian Agricultural Company                                                

  • Affiliated with the ACA ~ Committee and Judges decision is final

  • The program can be changed or altered at the discretion of the Committee

  • Austalian Standard Helmets to be worn by competitors 18 years and under

 

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Entry fees are $55.00 for a 4 day pass, or $16.50 for a day pass on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, $27.50 for a day pass on Saturday. 

Your entry fee includes:                   

  • unlimited grounds entry
  • free camping 
  • access to ammenities 
  • entry to all areas & events except the Presentation Dinner (tickets sold seperately).

If you are planning to attend the 2010 Brunette Races, please pre book your tickets.  Due to the remote nature of the event the Committee relys on this informationto assist with catering and bar requirements.  Patrons who pre book will receive a complimentary Name Tag and Lanyard on arrival.

TENT CITY BOOKINGS

Tent City are taking bookings for the accommodation tents available at the 100th celebrations.  These tents sleep two and are the height of camping luxury!  They come complete with 2 x single stretchers, carpet and lighting.

Camping and Catering Facilities

Camping is available adjacent to facilities not inside the race track.  Some powered camp sites are available but these are limited, so it is recommened that you bring your own generator if you require electricity.

Bar and Catering will be available from Wednesday evening throughout the weekend.
