TRACKSIDE TRIBUTE

An exhibition of paintings, photographs and jewellery to celebrate the centenary of the ABC races by outback artist Lyn Barnes, photographer Scott Bridle and jeweller Alan Thomson.

From the Cooper to Camooweal, the Bulloo to the Barkly, Lyn Barnes’ pictures capture the landscape and lifestyle of today’s outback. A keen supporter of the ABC races, her annual exhibitions in Brisbane often feature paintings inspired by the activities of this legendary event. Her work is held in many private and corporate collections both in Australia and internationally.

The Alan Thomson name is synonymous with contemporary and evocative jewellery which is truly Australian. He combines Kimberly diamonds, Broome pearls and Queensland sapphires into his opal jewellery designs, capturing the essence of the outback’s natural beauty.

Scott Bridle,  well known northern helicopter pilot and photographer will have a display of his photographic images depicting the northern cattle industry.

Don’t miss The Trackside Tribute, only at this years Brunette Races.
